New Year Greetings from the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra!
The year 2023 is upon us and there is excitement at the GPO! Although we will experience changes with our CEO Nick Kenny leaving at the end of January to pursue a new career, we are prepared not to miss a beat!

Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra Chief Executive Officer Nick Kenny is embracing his own season of change by announcing that he is resigning from the GPO to pursue a new career path.
Kenny’s last day with the orchestra is Jan. 29.
“Nick has hugely benefited the GPO with his energy, creativity and musical expertise,” said Glenda Haines, GPO Board president. “He was incredibly important in making the GPO more visible to a younger demographic, and we are truly grateful for all his contributions to the GPO.”

Dylan Fixmer is a musician and the composer in residence for the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. When he came into contact with this particular violin, he did wonder about the story it held. The story he discovered moved him deeply and inspired his new violin concerto.
Years ago, the violin came into a music store in Boulder where Fixmer was working, without any documentation — and in distress.
