Hello!

My name is Brian Larson, and I’m honored to be the President of the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra’s Board of Directors. The GPO is the oldest continuous operating orchestra west of the Mississippi. My wife, Kim, and I moved to Greeley 28 years ago, and specifically chose Greeley because of the fabulous professional orchestral music that the GPO produced and continues to produce. Some recent highlights of amazing performances include:

  •  Space: The Symphonic Frontier

  • John Denver Tribute

  • Beatles Tribute

  • Shrek The Musical

  • Beauty and the Beast

2020 has been a very tumultuous year, and our Board of Directors has worked tirelessly to keep our musicians employed and provide live musical experiences for our community. While the year has not gone at all as we’ve planned, we are proud to have still been able to “Keep the Music Playing,” albeit at a much smaller capacity than originally intended.

The Greeley Phil has been honored to have your unending support for the last century. Your assistance has continued to help us provide a high level of professional and safe performances for our community, even whilst enduring the negative impacts of Covid-19. Thank you so much for your support this year - and every year! We look forward to sharing the stage with you again very soon.

Sincerely,
Brian Larson
Board President
