Greeley Philharmonic Presents Salute to Service
Greeley, CO – It is a high honor for the Greeley Philharmonic Brass Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Frank Cook, to perform in celebration and gratitude for those who have answered the call to serve in our United States Armed Forces.
Salute to Service is a special concert that honors our heroes with patriotic songs like “Stars and Stripes Forever,” “Armed Forces Salute,” and “America the Beautiful.” Each concert will start with a color guard presentation.
When and Where:
· Friday, November 8, 2024, at 7 PM - Windsor First United Methodist Church
· Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 7 PM - First Congregational Church Greeley
On November 9th, the Greeley Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (GPYO) will have a FREE performance at 5 PM in the First Congregational Church. These young musicians come from ten middle and high schools in Weld County. Their performance shows the future of music in our community and honors those who serve. There will be a reception between the GPYO and Brass Ensemble performances.
Tickets for Salute to Service are available for purchase through the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra’s website [greeleyphil.org/tickets] or at the box office. Discounts are available for veterans and active military personnel.
