The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra announces search for a new Executive Director

The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra (GPO) is seeking a motivated and passionate Executive Director who will lead and inspire the organization, ensure sustainability, and promote growth. The Executive Director is ultimately responsible for all financial resources of the GPO and serves two critical roles within it:

 

The Executive Director is responsible for providing the direction, developing and implementing strategy, giving instruction, and interpreting the data necessary to enable the Board of Directors to adopt sound and practical plans which serve to carry out the mission of the GPO.

 

In addition, the ED is responsible for the engagement, cultivation and solicitation of all stakeholders including donors, sponsors, and grant agencies. The Executive Director will focus on building community relationships, promoting vision, and leading fundraising efforts with individuals as well as corporate donors. The Executive Director is ultimately accountable to all aspects of the GPO budget and implementing the strategies and policies set forth by the Board of Directors.

 

The Executive Director position requires professional experience in fundraising/development, strategic planning, budget management, professional staff management and grant writing. Non-profit management experience, volunteer management, and special events administrative experience is preferred.  

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

4 Year bachelor’s degree from accredited institution

6 Years Professional Fundraising Experience

6 Years Organizational Strategic Planning Experience

4 Years Professional Staff Management Experience

4 Years Budget Planning and Organizational Management Experience

2 Years Grant Writing Experience

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Management Experience in Performing Arts Organization

2 Years Non-Profit Management Experience

2 Years Special Fundraising Events Administration Experience

2 Years Volunteer Management Experience

Annual salary range $82,300 – $97,300. Health, Dental, and Vision benefits are offered. Moving expenses will not be reimbursed by the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. Position is not eligible for remote work. Job posting closes end of day April 30, 2023.
