Christmas Brass Performs across Northern Colorado
Greeley, CO - The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra is proud to announce its annual traveling "Christmas Brass" holiday concerts. Northern Colorado's biggest, baddest, and boldest brass section will visit Windsor, Fort Morgan, and Greeley for a joyful showcase of holiday hymns and carols under the direction of Dr. Ken Singleton, including “Joy to the World,” Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus,” selections from The Nutcracker, and more! Mark your calendars for an evening of holiday cheer, as the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra delivers a spectacular performance. All concerts begin at 7:00 pm.

Dr. Ken Singleton was Director of Bands and Chairman of the Wind Conducting Program at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, from June 1985 through May 2019. Additionally, Singleton was principal conductor of the Denver Brass for 24 years. In 2009 he created an imaginative Christmas Brass Concert for the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. The Greeley Philharmonic is proud to acknowledge Singleton’s extraordinary commitment to brass music at his final performance with the Greeley Philharmonic Brass on December 16th. We invite all whose lives he has touched to join us for the celebration at the Greeley First United Methodist Church.
